SERVICES & SERMONS
Services are held every Sunday, starting at 10 a.m. They are led by our Interim Priest, Rev. Canon Nicholas Porter, and by our lay worship leaders. We follow the traditional Book of Common Prayer of The Episcopal Church. Prayers and sermons are offered by both Rev. Porter and our lay leadership, and reflect upon our place in God's world and beyond.
Music is an integral part of our services. In addition to hymns and other songs of praise, musical preludes and offertories are presented in a wide variety of styles. And, we will stray from the traditional and explore other musical worship throughout the year.
On the third Sunday of each month, we offer healing during our service, an important part of bringing God's word and peace to our neighbors in need. Click for more information.
Every Sunday from 10 am to 11 am.
Our Coffee Hour, with conversation, treats and fellowship, follows our services.
During the current situation, we are holding virtual services Sundays at 10 a.m, which include our regular liturgy, a homily, and music of various styles. If you wish to join us and are not on our email list, please send us an email to .
We offer special services in accordance with the Liturgical Year. In addition, we regularly open our doors for services to celebrate, honor, and commemorate.
We invite you to our Taizé service for peace, a candlelit service of song, prayer, and meditation. This simple and beautiful worship consists of chants that are easily learned and repeated by everyone, short readings, and a time of silence. People sit in a circular space around a sea of candles. In the shared song and silence they may take time for both group prayer and their own personal reflection.
Please come and pray for peace with us, wherever you may be on your journey.
The Taize service is periodically, most often on Thursdays, at 6 p.m. More information may be found here. Check our announcements and calendar to see when our next Taize service is schedule.
