  • The Vestry of St. Mary's in the Mountains is pleased to announce that  it has called the Reverend Dr. Mary (Molly) Scherm to be its next Priest-in-Charge. Reverend Scherm assumed the leadership position effective October 1 following a nearly two-year period of spiritual discernment by church officials. Welcome Reverend Molly! 

  • As part of our outreach, we have opened to all our Little Food Pantry, located in the parking lot near the lower entrance to our building.  There, you will find food and staples for those who may be in need.  If you need help, please visit, and also contact us.  We are blessed to be able to help those in our community.  

  • Senior Warden Dick Ward and vestry member Lincoln Rantham and others are preparing for the 2024 Deerfield Valley Pilgrimage Walk, which will be held in September.  If you are interested, and especially if you would like to join them on their "scouting" hikes, please contact Lincoln or Dick after one of our services.

St. Mary's in the Mountains, located at 13 East Main Street in Wilmington, Vermont, is an Episcopal community which welcomes all to our communion.  Whether you're a long-time resident of Deerfield Valley, a weekend or summer resident, or someone just visiting the area; whether you're a long-time communicant within the Episcopal faith, someone exploring different faith options, or just looking for a warm and peaceful place to rest, we invite you to join us for our service every Sunday at 10 a.m., and in our many other activities.

Regardless of who you may be, or where you may be on life's journey, you are most welcome at St. Mary's.
